This year begins with two new publications about Hans Blumenberg, which I (co-)edited. As a late result of a conference held in October 2019, the volume Blumenbergs Procedure, edited by Eva Geulen and myself, is available from Wallstein Verlag. New additions to the work appeared. At the same time, but already three years in the making, a special issue of New German Critique entitled “Blumenberg at 101” will be published.
My contribution is an examination of a fascinating but often overlooked text by Blumenberg from May 1968 on political theory. It can be read here in German and here in English.
